Romanian Sociology journal is owned by Romanian Sociological Association. From issue 1/2003, it includes the content of Journal of Social Research. ISSN 1220 – 5389. The journal is published in collaboration with European Institute.
Thematic and addressability The publication provides space for opinions, research articles and book reviews of all Romanian and foreign sociologists. We accept papers written in Romanian, English or French, relevant to the audience of the journal.
History Romanian Sociology was founded in 1936 by the renowned sociologist Dimitrie Gusti. Abolished by the communist regime in 1946, it was restored in 1990 by the Romanian Sociological Association, which remained its main editor since.

Review process Romanian Sociology is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. Articles are anonymously sent out to referees, who belong to an international panel of sociologists.
