Romanian Sociology is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. Articles are anonymously sent out to referees, who belong to an international panel of sociologists.

1.    Articles may be submitted in Romanian. English or French. Each article should be accompanied by an English abstract of maximum 300 words, and 4-6 keywords.

2.    Contributions should be the original work of the authors, and they should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any previous form of publication should be disclosed.

3.    Articles should be submitted electronically, by e-mail or online submission.

4.    Title, author(s)’ name, affiliation(s), full address (including telephone and e-mail address) and brief biographical note should be included in a separate document.

5.    Articles should be submitted as .doc, .rtf or .odt files, without using styles (simple text), with graphics and maps as .jpeg or .tiff files. Tables and graphics should be clearly presented, numbered and they should have a descriptive title and an indication of their source.

6.    Articles should not exceed 20 pages, Times New Roman 12, single spaced.

7.    Notes, if any, should appear at the end of the article.

8.    References are presented in the Harvard style. In case of quotations, referencing in the text should be as follows: (Author, year, page). In the reference list the book and journal titles should be marked with italics, while the article titles should be written in regular font style. All references cited in text must be listed in the final References section, and vice-versa.

The partial or complete reproduction of the articles is forbidden without the written permission of the Editors.

Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permission for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations published elsewhere.
