Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză)

The research was made on a women sample of three generations with a total number of 273 persons in Alba county. It started from the list of the tenured or temporarily hired kindergarten teachers in a nursery school in Alba county, with ages between 20 and 29. After that, their mothers and grandmothers were investigated by a consistent questionnaire. The present research was also included in the preparing program for a graduating paper with the following theme: „The Generation Study of Women's Attitude towards the Process of Growing Old”. The data and conclusions of our study seem to tell us that people face a confuse range of viewpoints about the way they can cope with this ageing process. As for the implied effort, we may add the doubt whether the methods will be productive or not. Hence comes the necessity of a gerontologic solution by which we could shape a complex educational strategy in the domain. Both women and men must have more information and a proper education about the ageing process.

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The paper emphasizes the role of the gesture categories in the simulated behavior. We focused on the main gesture classification in literature -Paul Ekman's. This study is a content analysis of nonverbal signals within the simulated behavior. By analyzing 48 role-play recordings in which the participants had to lie, we confirmed our hypotheses. The number of regulators decreases about 2 times, the number of affect displays increases 1.5 times and the adaptors increase about 5 times.

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The article presents some of the consumers' behavioral models and theories, in an attempt at outlining different points of view „newer and older” belonging to theorists or practitioners interested in this topic, starting from the basic needs analyzed by Bronislaw Malinowski and Abraham Maslow's pyramid of needs, passing through the antithesis of rational/irrational behavior of Daniel Katz and co., the FCB Dial, the DAGMAR List of questions, and ending with the segmentation of the target groups through the VALS and PRIZM models.

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The article examines the specific and the typology of rumors during the war, as well as the implications of this phenomenon for the interests of society. The approach represents an analysis of the rumors that have been transmitted in certain communities in Bucharest, in November 1943, and it has the structure of a case study. The hypothesis of this paper is that we could speak about the inner „truth value” of rumor, in times of war, which provides the propelling force of rumors.

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The European continent is of a unique diversity by comprising all forms of aggregation and structuring of the elements of human life of the whole planet. Its unification was made through a comprehensive historical process in which the citizenships it triggered in the remotest geographic areas and the loyalties born of the common defense of a priceless patrimony have produced an exemplary human and cultural flux at a universal scale. What is called „European culture” is in fact a pluriculture, a fertile mixture of different cultures that provides all the necessary elements for a new civilization.
