Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The paper presents a case study, which was made in five different pre-university learning institutions in the county of Alba and it prefaced the implementation of the school-family-community partnerships programs, scientifically fundamented and adjusted to the specificity of each school. As the purpose and the objectives of the research aimed at finding out parents and teachers positions towards the change in the school-family relationship within the democratic society, in analyzing the collected data we used the cluster hierarchical analysis and the multidimensional scaling various interdependence analysis techniques which made it easier forms to identify the tendencies of the subjects options and attitudes. Thus, the investigation revealed the domains imposing a sustained activity of the Action Team for Partnerships set up in each school.

Abortion vs Conception: between profane decision and divine plan

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): The main point of this essay is the contradiction between the legality of abortion as a secular human right and the Christian ethics according to which abortion is a deadly sin. The highly praiseful comments on the documentary film Decrețeii: Nãscuți la comandă / The Decretzei: Children Born at Chief Command (directed by Florin Iepan and describing exclusively the baleful effects of Ceaușescu's decision to prohibit abortion) ignore precisely the religious dimension of life. Born himself with the first cohorts of decreței, the author detests the late horrible dictatorship, but at the same time he pleads for the dignity and joy to live. He argues that life is a gift from God, Who, besides (and over) the man and the woman involved as natural parents, participates with His grace in the coming into being of a newborn child.

Maramureș: traditions in tourist practices

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): In this article, I focus on the way material elements of Maramureºan culture are transformed in social symbols, which are then interpreted and deconstructed by the locals in front of the tourists who visit this region. In this research, my major objective has been an accurate understanding of the elements of family identity that are used by the local villagers in their interactions with visitors, going through articulation of tourist traditions in the rural areas. In order to adequately address this research question, I have done an ethnographic field research and a careful and detailed analysis of this type of tourism. Such approach is necessary in order to understand the choices that lie at the foundations of these practices, as well as the decision of Maramuresan villages to orient towards a particular touristic practice. The data collection phase of research has been followed by the analysis of some intentional elements, such as household instruments, traditional costumes, or local gastronomy, which all constitute signals addressed to the tourists in a village community (Botiza village).

Power and style. The archeology of power

Abstract (Rezumat în limba engleză): Power makes itself visible inside a structure of human interactions, conduct and various attitudes. Thus the expressions of power are different from case to case, from person to person. Such differentiation also appears as a consequence of the personal features of those who we usually call leaders. Every form of power is also an expression of a leader's personal features but such a thing shouldnt be mistaken for the personalization of power, which leads to dictatorship.
